Devices
The tracking hardware itself: status history, recorded paths, ping counts, and positions pinned by hand.
https://api.staging.locantra.deGet the recorded path of one or more devices
https://api.staging.locantra.de/device/pathReturns the positions one or more devices recorded while they were assigned to your organisation, as one flat list keyed per row by DeviceID. ID is a device's own hardware identifier; repeat it to read several devices in one call. Limit (default 100, maximum 1000) applies per device, so three devices with Limit 100 answer up to 300 rows; the response envelope's Page carries the applied Limit. Give LocationLat, LocationLon and LocationRadius together to keep only the positions inside that circle.
Get the pinned position of one device
https://api.staging.locantra.de/device/position/overwriteReturns the position overwrite of one device. A position overwrite pins a device to a fixed position, so every ping the platform reports for it uses that position instead of the one the device measured. It is how a stationary reader is placed on the map. A device can carry only one overwrite at a time.
Pin a device to a fixed position
https://api.staging.locantra.de/device/position/overwriteCreates a position overwrite for one device; Data carries its ID. A position overwrite pins a device to a fixed position, so every ping the platform reports for it uses that position instead of the one the device measured. It is how a stationary reader is placed on the map. A device can carry only one overwrite at a time. The overwrite belongs to your organisation, taken from your credential.
Update a pinned position
https://api.staging.locantra.de/device/position/overwriteChanges the label or the pinned position of one position overwrite. Those are the only fields this operation can change — the device an overwrite pins is fixed at creation, so delete the overwrite and create it on the other device instead — and an omitted field is left unchanged.
Remove a pinned position
https://api.staging.locantra.de/device/position/overwriteDeletes a position overwrite. The device it pinned reports its own measured position again from the next ping on.
List the status history of one device
https://api.staging.locantra.de/device/status/allReturns the statuses one device reported over time, newest first. ID is the identifier the device hardware reports, not the ID of its assignment row. Limit (default 100, maximum 1000) caps the rows returned; the response envelope's Page carries the applied Limit.
Get the latest status of one device
https://api.staging.locantra.de/device/status/latestReturns the most recent status one device reported. ID is the identifier the device hardware reports, not the ID of its assignment row.
List devices
https://api.staging.locantra.de/devices/listLists the devices assigned to your organisation. A device has two identifiers: DeviceID is the identifier the hardware reports and every status, path and ping row is keyed by, while ID is the row ID of the device's assignment to your organisation. Results are paged with Limit (default 100, maximum 1000) and Offset; the response envelope's Page carries the applied Limit and the Total match count.
Count the pings recorded per device
https://api.staging.locantra.de/devices/pings/countCounts the pings the devices of your organisation recorded, as an object keyed by DeviceID — the identifier each device's hardware reports. Repeat ID to count for named devices only, or omit it to count for every device of your organisation. A device that is not yours is rejected with 403.
Get the latest status of every device
https://api.staging.locantra.de/devices/status/latestReturns the most recent status of each device assigned to your organisation. View=slim trims every row to DeviceID, DeviceName, BoxType, PositionPoint, Time and RecordsCount. The devices are paged with Limit (default 100, maximum 1000) and Offset before their statuses are read, so the response carries a status for at most Limit devices; the envelope's Page carries the applied Limit and how many devices your organisation has.
